The RC Lens is activated to find its new goalkeeper. With the departure of Mathew Ryan, the Artesian club drew up a short-list of four names, where Yehvann Diouf (Reims) is a priority. But who will really keep the Lensois cages this summer?

After a season marked by the sudden departure of Brice Samba during the winter transfer window, the RC Lens wants to bet on reliability and long -term vision. Yehvann Diouf, impressive with the Stade de Reims despite the relegation of the club in Ligue 2, is the main target, according to Footmercato.

Negotiations are already engaged with the SDR. Seduced by the Lensois challenge and author of a reference match against the Sang et Or (14 stops), Yehvann Diouf under contract until 2027, sees a good eye a transfer in the Pas de Calais. His reassuring profile, his ability to shine in the big meetings and his experience in Ligue 1 make him the ideal choice to stabilize the rear Artesian guard.

In the event of failure on the Diouf file, Lens has provided alternatives. Robin Risser, a young goalkeeper from Strasbourg, presents himself as plan B. An astonishing track for a number one role, even if Risser is a doorman with big potential.

Two other names, kept secret for the moment (Slawomir Abramowicz?), Complete the short-list, according to FM. This discretion allows the club not to be overtaken on the market and to keep all its options open, even if the priority therefore seems to be Yevhann Diouf. And for once, if the RC Lens arrives at its ends, it would be a nice blow made by the new sports director of Sang et Or, Jean-Louis Leca.
