Dutch supporters had something to rejoice on Monday, July 28. Dutch sprinters Lorena Wiebes (SD Worx Protime) won the sprint in Angers, in a final disturbed by a fall just over three kilometers from the finish. She has ahead of her compatriot Marianne Vos (Visma Lease A Bike). The latter recovers the Mauritian yellow jersey Kim Le Court.

The stage was animated by a quartet – Alison Jackson, Clémence Latimier, Sara Martin and Catalina Soto Campos – taken up less than ten kilometers from the goal. Favorite for the final victory, Demi Vollering (FDJ Suez) could see her annoyed ambitions: victim of the collective fall on the final, she appeared in suffering when she crossed the finish line, surrounded by two teammates, several minutes after the winner.
