Milan Skriniar, Marco Asensio, Nordi Mukiele, Carlos Soler, Ilyes Housni and Lucas Lavallée resumed training this July 16 at the Loges camp. Randal Kolo Muani and Renato Sanches will join them the following week. All are now evolving with the Espoirs group, far from the professional group of Luis Enrique. This sidelining is not anecdotal: it materializes the financial impasse in which PSG locked.

These eight players represent a payroll of almost 100 million euros gross annual,
According to the Parisian estimates
. A dead weight which prevents Paris from activating its summer transfer window, constrained by the new rules of financial fair play and the ceiling of 70% of the payroll imposed by the LFP.

Wages that cool the contenders

The distribution of emoluments partly explains the degreasing difficulties. Skriniar affects 12 million euros raw per year, Kolo Muani 11.5 million, Asensio 9 million, Soler 7 million, Mukiele and Sanches 6 million each. To these amounts are added the remaining depreciation: 60 million for Kolo Muani (recruited 95 million last summer), 24 million for Skriniar.

This arithmetic complicates negotiations. Fenerbahçe is interested in Asensio but reluctant in front of its 170,000 euros weekly. Same scenario for Skriniar: the Stambouliote club offers 12 million when Paris claims 20. Villarreal appreciates the profile of Soler but stumbles on his salary, despite the agreement in principle with Marcelino.

Blocked transfer window: PSG loftors lead the entire Luis Enrique project

Kolo Muani, the most thorny case

The French striker crystallizes Parisian contradictions. Rather efficient during its loan to Juventus (10 goals, 2 assists), it attracts Turin lusts. The old lady offers a new loan with compulsory purchase option, but Paris requires that a significant part be paid this season to lighten her accounts.

Negotiations drag, illustrating the Parisian dilemma: it is impossible to sell off a player bought so dear, difficult to find a club capable of assuming such amounts. Mukiele, Sanches, Housni and Lavallée attract little concrete interest to the market.

An assumed anti-brading strategy

The Parisian management has learned from past errors. Free loans from Kurzawa or Icardi have devalued the image of the club on the transfer market. This time, out of the question to give in to ease. Each underestimated departure would risk creating a deleterious domino effect for other files.

The privileged idea: assemblies in split-deals, with paid loans matching compulsory purchase options offset at 2026. What spread the depreciation while preserving the accounting value of the players. But as long as this mechanics are not triggered, no major recruit can land.

Urgency without panic for PSG

PSG manages this situation as a balancingist. By the end of the transfer window on August 31, the leaders hope for a significant first movement. The departure of Ekitike (a former club) to Liverpool could unlock the attacker market in Europe and facilitate other operations.

In the meantime, the “loft” works like a lock. He embodies the deadlock of a transfer window where you can no longer sell or buy freely. The management works on a thread: refuse to sell off without paralyzing the sports project. A delicate equation to prevent this summer from turning financial failure while sportingly everything is fine.
