Former Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti decided not to summon any of his former players at Santiago Bernabéu for his second selection.
The Merengues have three players that Encelotti could have asked, but they decided not to use them.
The Italian coach impressed local media with his Portuguese recruitment attempts during the presentation of his selection, after only a little less than three months of absence. Brazil will face Chile and Bolivia in September, before being able to truly start its mandate, after being called at the last minute before the South American qualifications for the World Cup in June.

Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes absent from the list
Ancelotti should have done without Endrick Felipe anyway, injured, but decided not to include Rodrygo Goes, Vinicius Junior and Eder Militao. Militao has just returned after a long injury to the previous cross ligament, and it is believed that he could benefit from his rest. Vinicius would have been suspended for the first match, and Ancelotti decided that it was not necessary to summon him for a single match. Rodrygo, obviously, is a decision -related decision.
A single Liga player in the Brazil team
Relatively rare, only one liga player was selected in the Brazil team: the vice-captain of FC Barcelona, Raphinha. The previous candidates, Antony and Samuel Lino, both left La Liga this summer, while the majority of the team evolves in Brazil, in Ligue 1 and in the Premier League.
Raphinha played a leading role with Brazil in the past year, in parallel with his ascent in Barcelona and his number 10 jersey for Seleçao. He is undoubtedly the star of the Ancelotti team, even if the new Chelsea recruit, Willian Estevao, should also draw attention.
