Paris Saint-Germain has set an important price for Vitinha, Real Madrid seeking to replace Luka Modric and Toni Kroos in the midfield of Xabi Alonso.

With the departure of Modric for AC Milan and Kroos' retirement, the Merengues lack players capable of controlling the midfielder. According to Foot01, Alonso identified Vitinha as a priority, Manchester City wishing to keep his main target, Rodri. However, PSG considers the Portuguese playmaker as untouchable and set a starting price of 130 million euros (110 million pounds sterling / 141 million dollars), an amount that would make it one of the most expensive transfers in the history of football.

Real Madrid targets Vitinha to rebuild its midfielder

Real Madrid needs a player capable of dictating the rhythm and breaking the lines in the midfield, roles previously occupied by Kroos and Modric. Vitinha corresponds to this profile, having imposed as a key element under Luis Enrique at PSG. However, French champions do not intend to sell easily. This case is added to the already costly reconstruction of the Madrid midfielder after the recruitment of Jude Bellingham (103 million euros) in 2023. If Vitinha is selected, this could eclipse this transfer and constitute one of the most expensive transfers of recent years.

Alonso wishes a profile to the Rodri this summer

The 25 -year -old joined Parisians from Porto in 2022 for 41.5 million euros and has since become an essential element of Luis Enrique's strategy. A potential sale at 130 million euros would be the outgoing record for PSG record, surpassing the transfer from Neymar to Al-Hilal. In addition, if the operation is materialized, it would also overshadow the current record transfer of Eden Hazard, who arrived from Chelsea for 115 million euros.
