Transfer window: 16.75 million euros in the barça boxes

While the transfer window is in full swing, the Catalan club made an entry of 16.75 million euros in its operations, which is encouraging to overcome its financial difficulties.

FC Barcelona, often criticized for its financial management, begins to take advantage of a discreet but effective strategy: that of keeping a percentage on the future sales of certain transferred players. This summer, this approach has already reported to the club 8 million euros thanks to the transfer of Jean-Claire Todibo from Nice to West Ham. At the same time, Barcelona also recovered 600,000 euros for Ilaix Moriba, sold definitively from RB Leipzig to Celta Vigo, as well as 400,000 euros for Álex Collado, transferred from Betis to the Qatari club in Al-Shamal. Without forgetting the 1.75 million euros from the sale of Ludovit Reis. In addition, the lifting of the Álex Valle release clause has added an additional 6 million euros to the club's funds. In total, Barça thus pocketed 16.75 million euros thanks to these five operations, illustrating that good anticipations in the negotiations can result in a real economic lever, even if these income is fragmented.

Entrances in sight

And it's not over. Other similar clauses could still report in the coming weeks. FC Barcelona still has a percentage on future sales of several players trained at the club or passed briefly in its colors. Among them, òscar Mingueza, today in Celta de Vigo, 50 % of which are economic rights held by Barça. Similar agreements exist for Trincao, Mika Mármol (Las Palmas) and Estanis Pedrola (Sampdoria), for which the Catalan club also retains 50 % of the profits from a possible resale. These clauses, often gone unnoticed during initial transfers, could play a crucial role in the Budget balance of Barça this summer. In a context of constraints related to financial fair play, each million won brings the club closer to its ambitions on the transfer market.
