End of career for André André
Trained mainly in Varzim, the native of Vila do Conde will have had many experiences before hanging up the crampons. First loaned to Spain, in the ranks of Deportivo, André André made a name for himself in the colors of Vitoria SC, which he joined for the first time in 2012.
After three years spent among the Vitorianos, the midfielder was able to change dimension, being transferred to FC Porto and by discovering for the first time the joys of an international selection. Author of nearly 100 meetings with the Dragões, the old number 11 of Leixões had to settle for 4 appearances under the red and green colors of Portugal, during which he scored a goal, in 2015 against Luxembourg.
Blocked by competition at FC Porto, it is once again at Vitoria SC that André André has regained his way. During his second visit to Guimarães, the thirty -something won as one of the team's pillars, before knowing his last two adventures at the high level. In 2022, the Portuguese was the subject of a loan in Saudi Arabia, in Al-Ittihad, then two years later, he joined the Leixões club where he played what will remain as his last season as a professional.
