The star midfielder from Chelsea, Enzo Fernandez, believes that the Blues can win the Club World Cup by defeating Paris Saint-Germain in the final.
The Blues will go outsiders against a PSG team which won all the trophies in play during the 2024-25 season and which has shown an exceptional form so far in the Club World Cup. However, the Argentinian believes that they can create surprise against the European champions.
The 2024-25 season undoubtedly belongs to PSG of Luis Enrique, who won his 13th title of Ligue 1, a record, and won his first champions trophy this summer. The club now has its eyes on the Club World Cup after scoring eight goals against Inter Miami and Real Madrid in the quarterfinals and semi-finals respectively.

PSG will tackle the final of Sunday in New Jersey as a big favorite, but the Argentinian midfielder Fernandez, winner of the World Cup, is convinced that the Blues can surprise the winners of the Champions League and win their second trophy of the season.

Addressing journalists, the 24 -year -old said:
“I think the key is to stay very focused in the final. We know that we cannot leave them space and that we cannot give them opportunities because they have very good players. Winning this club World Cup would be very important for the club. Of course, Chelsea has already won it in the past, but a second victory would not be a bad thing!
So we got ready for this match. We know that we face a big team, but we have confidence in us and we are also a big team. We have prepared well and we will now enter the field and give the best of ourselves. »»
The Enzo Fernandez team will take a break after the end of the Club World Cup and will resume service next month. She will play two pre-season friendly games against Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan at home, respectively on August 8 and 10, before starting a brand new Premier League season.
