A flat stage to blow after the ascent of Mont Ventoux, which offered the first victory to the French camp thanks to Valentin Paret-Peintre. The peloton runners set off from Bollène (Vaucluse), Wednesday, July 23, on the occasion of the 17th stage. After 160.4 km of racing, marked by only two difficulties – the Col de Pertuis (3.7 km at 6.6%) and the tartaiguille pass (3.6 km at 3.5%) – the runners will arrive in Valence (Drôme).
For this last stage of the publishing plain, the sprinters should be there. Jonathan Milan (Lidl-Trek) and Tim Merlier (Sudal-Quick-Step) will want to go and seek a new stage victory-the second for the Italian and the third for the Belgian-while other runners such as Biniam Girmay (Intermarché-Wanty) or Arnaud de Lie (Lotto) aims to register their name for the first time of this 112nd edition.
