Former Jota teammates like Fabinho or Thiago Alcantara are also present, as well as many Portuguese internationals who have shared the Seleção changing rooms with him, like João Moutinho, Joao Félix and Bernardo Silva. While they were Friday evening in the United States for the quarter-final of the Club World Cup against Fluminense (Brazilian victory 2-1), the players of Al-Hilal João Cancelo and Rúben Neves also made the trip. The latter helped carry the coffin of Diogo Jota to the church. Despite the presence of the funeral media, mass inside the church is not disseminated to the public.
