The determination of Real Madrid to play in a world class stadium continues to weigh heavily on club finances in 2025.

The club is in the final phase of its ambitious renovation project of its stadium, the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

As part of this renovation, and due to the absence of supporters due to the Pandemic of Covid-19, Real Madrid has relocated its matches out of the stadium for two years.

Upon his return in 2021, the new stadium made the desire for the world of football with renovations including a retractable roof, a 360 -degree video display table, a steel slat facade outside the stadium and an area dedicated to electronic sports.

In addition to these improvements, the club's goal was to improve supporters' experience and open up new sources of income in order to finance development.

A Real Madrid noise problem

However, despite the initial optimism, the club encountered many problems with the local authorities concerning sound pollution and the management of crowds during live events.

Real Madrid has been offered a quote of 20 to 25 million euros to install acoustic insulation in the arena, but it seems that there is no guarantee that it will sufficiently block the noise for the surrounding districts of the Spanish capital.
