Zerbi's Marseille coach Roberto is pleasantly surprised to see the change at Mason Greenwood.
The former Manchester United star came back in great shape for the pre-season. Greenwood is in great shape after his vacation, having already scored four goals in two friendly matches, including a hat -trick against the Dutch team of Excelsior Maassluis.
Greenwood had a first dream season in France last season after his final departure from Manchester United. He scored 22 goals in all competitions for Marseille and narrowly missed the Ligue 1 gold shoe against Ousmane Dembélé.

The attacker is now back in France and hopes to resume where he stopped for the 2024-25 season. Zerbi's Marseille coach is delighted to see the 23 -year -old develop, the Italian coach who praised Greenwood's efforts to stay in shape during the offseason.
A different greenwood
When asked if he was surprised by the liveliness of Greenwood, Zerbi replied: “He looked very fit when training resumes. It is a different mason. He relies on what he did last season. He worked hard during the holidays. When he runs like that, he's better than others. ”
The giants of Ligue 1 will find the field on Tuesday to face Valence in another pre-season friendly match in Tarragona.
