RC Lens lives an eventful summer. A few weeks ago, we learned that Will Still left the North to become the Southampton coach. To replace it, the Sang and Gold called upon Pierre Sage, former OL. The Lensois published a video to make their supporters wait before the formalization of new recruits.
RC Lens has had an average season, facing many financial problems. Indeed, the northern club was forced to sell many executives last summer, and had to count on some very young players this year. This revamped workforce did not allow them to hang a European place for next year.
But that does not prevent them from activating for their summer transfer window. The Northerners have just published a great video, taking up the codes of the cult series of Simpsons, in order to tease their next summer recruits. For example, we learned yesterday that the young Robin Risser was going to get involved with the Sang and Gold.

It has now been two years since the Lensois have not played the slightest European competition. We remember their beautiful exploits in 2023, where they had notably beaten Arsenal at the Bollaert stadium (2-1). With the arrival of Pierre Sage, the goal will be to return to the top six to play gala matches again.
