The eighth stage of the Tour is on the menu of the Tour club, Saturday July 12. The peloton left Brittany for the Pays de la Loire over 171.4 km, connecting Saint-Méen-le-Grand (Ille-et-Vilaine) to Laval (Mayenne).
Step won in the sprint by Italian Jonathan Milan (Lidl-Trek) in front of the Belgian Wout Van Aert (Visma-Lease A Bike) and the Australian Kaden Groves (Alpecin-Deceuninck). It is Milan's first stage victory on the Tour de France. The Slovenian Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) keeps the yellow jersey from the general classification.
