This is sad news announced by Annecy. The Haut-Savoyard club announced the death of the legend of the Jean-Jacques Ikonga club, at the age of 91. The winger had notably passed through Olympique de Marseille and had never hidden his attachment to the Marseille club.
“FC Annecy has the deep sadness to announce the death of Jean-Jacques Ikonga, emblematic player of the club and champion of amateur France in 1960. Former OM, he marked the history of the FCA by his talent, his commitment and his humanity, before transmitting his passion to the young people of the club for more than 15 years. A real red and white legend, he will remain forever in our hearts. Our thoughts go to his wife Suzanne, to her children and her loved ones ”explains Annecy in his press release.
