The Alexis and Félix Lebrun brothers qualified for the final of the Grand Smash Table Tennis of Las Vegas, thanks to an authoritarian success on the Chinese pair Liang Jingkun/Wang Chuqin on Friday.

The world's number 1, the Lebrun brothers, Alexis and Félix, only needed 19 minutes to outclass the Chinese pair Liang Jingkun/Wang Chuqin, 3 sets at 0 (11-8, 11-6, 11-8), after an expeditious semi-final, this Friday at the Grand Smash in Las Vegas (Nevada).

They will face on Saturday in the final, either the South Koreans in Jaehyun and Lim Jonghoon, or the Pongists of Hong Kong Wong Chun Ting and Chan Baldwin.

First final of Grand Smash for the Lebrun pair

Alexis (21) and Félix Lebrun (18), European champions and bronze medalists at the Double Worlds in May, qualified for their first final of a large Smash, one of the four major tournaments on the WTT circuit.

The two French people, however, won the circuit final last December. Later in the day in the United States, Félix Lebrun will face his compatriot Lilian Bardet for a place in the semi-finals in simple.
