The stage of this Tuesday, July 29, 2025 has almost no difficulty with a single 4th category coast on the program for the 146 runners still in the race which will travel 131 km between Saumur and Poitiers.
The Dutchman Lorena Wiebes won the 4th stage of the Tour de France in Poitiers by ahead of a massive sprint her compatriot Marianne Vos, who kept the yellow jersey. Half Vollering, favorite of the big loop which had dropped heavily on Monday and appeared feverish from Saumur, finished in the peloton at the same time as the winner of the day.
