The twelfth stage of the Tour de France, Thursday, July 17, is on the menu of the Tour club. Starting from Auch (Gers), the peloton entered the Pyrenees with this 180.6 km stage which ended with an arrival at the top in Hautacam, in the Pyrenees. This mythical ascent promised a fierce battle between the favorites of the general classification.
The Slovenian Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates XRG) clearly prevailed after having left alone 11 kilometers from the finish, in the final climb to Hautacam. This is his 20th stage victory over the big loop.
