New long -awaited step in the Alps for the Tour de France 2025, Friday July 25. And new arrival at altitude at more than 2,000 meters. This 19th stage of 129.9 km connected Albertville to La Plagne.

The Dutchman Thymen Arensman, already a winner of the 14th stage in Superbagnères, won his second stage in this Tour de France by resisting Jonas Vingegaard and Tadej Pogacar on Friday at the finish at La Plagne. The two rivals observed themselves during the whole climb before the Danish finished the sprint just ahead of the Slovenian, who retains an advance of 4:24 in the general classification two days before the arrival in Paris.
