The Artesian club has taken a new stage in the reconstruction of its workforce by recruiting a young goalkeeper. After the departure of Brice Samba for Rennes to the winter transfer window, Management set its sights on Robin Risser, 20 years old, from Strasbourg.
Risser, which has recently been loaned to the Red Star, initialed a five -season contract, thus extending his commitment with Lens until June 2030. The transfer was concluded for an amount estimated at 3 million euros, sign of the confidence placed in youth.
The young French international Espoirs thus becomes the new figure of the goalkeeper position within the club, after the departure of Mathew Ryan and the decision not to renew the contract of Hervé Koffi. The choice of management is therefore clear: to bet on the potential of a young hope.
