The Public Inquiry Commission has given the green light to the future stadium in Brest. In a favorable opinion rendered this Tuesday, July 15, she underlined the relevance of the project and its character of general interest, thus confirming the territorial anchoring of Arkéa Park, planned in Guipavas. According to Brest Métropolemore than 2,200 citizen contributions were collected during the survey, testifying to a real interest of the general public: “The procedure made it possible to identify a real representativeness of the opinions and to confirm the relevance of the project with regard to the challenges of the territory”specifies the community in a press release.

Six months after the declaration of general interest by the Minister of Sports, this opinion is a new confirmation that we are going in the right direction. ” The Arkéa Park, which will replace the dilapidated Francis-Le Blé stadium in the city center, will offer 15,000 seats in a more modern setting and suitable for current standards. The overall cost of the site is estimated at 106.5 million euros, with a delivery scheduled for the third quarter of 2028, according to the investigation report.
