Another step for the Punchers. In the aftermath of the first time trial of the 2025 edition won by Remco Evenepoel, the runners set off Thursday, July 10, from Bayeux – birth city of Kévin Vauquelin – to travel 201.5 km from an accidental course with more than 3,500 meters of elevation gain. The Côte de Vaudry (1.2 km at 7.2%) will be the last difficulty before the final, which should see a fight between the Punchers in the last meters.

The favorites for the general classification, Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates XRG), the new leader, and Jonas Vingegaard (Visma-Lease A Bike), who must catch up with the time lost on Wednesday, could still be part of this final battle, just like Mathieu Van der Poel (Alpecin-Deceuninck), who lost his yellow jersey, or (Visma-lease a bike). At home, the Normand Kévin Vauquelin (Arkéa B&B Hotels) will also have a card to play while Romain Grégoire (Groupama-FDJ) or Julian Alaphilippe (Tudor Pro Cycling) will also be monitored on the French side.
