On 159.7 kilometers, the runners will have to deal with a contrasting course: first completely flat, before a mountainous final marked by the Côte de Saint-Franc, the Côte de Berland and especially the Col du Granier (8.9 km at 5.3 %). With a technical descent leading to the finish, this 7th stage could move the lines in the general classification and offer ideal land to attackers and climbers.
