The Total energy presented the design of his jersey for the Tour de Francea checkered pattern directly inspired by the emblematic outfit of the team Peugeot. This aesthetic choice pays tribute to the history of Vendée cycling and Jean-René Bernaudeaumajor figure in French cycling and team leader for almost thirty years. This checkerboard recalls the beginnings of Bernaudeau as a runner, then under the direction of Cyrille Guimard and evolving alongside runners as Gilbert duclos-riders et Stephen Roche.
