The 1st stage of this Tour de France was damn animated. And some of the favorites in the general classification have already lost big. Indeed, in this final marked by borders, some big names have conceded precious time on Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates XRG) et Jonas Vingegaard (Visma | Lease a Bike). Apart from Jonas Vingegaard et Tadej Pogacar, Matteo Jorgenson (Visma | Lease a Bike), Tobias Johannessen (Uno-X Mobility), Enric Mas (Movistar) et Ben O’Connor (Jayco Alula) were also credited with the winner's time. Further on, other runners have lost all hope of generally figuratively (if they have already had the ambition), as Romain Grégoire (Groupama-FDJ), Julian Alaphilippe (Tudor), Adam Yates (UAE Team Emirates XRG) or the winner of the last Giro Simon Yates (Visma | lease a bike) … which all passed the line more than 5 minutes from the winner of the day Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin-deceuninck). In galley all day, Lenny Martinez (Bahrain Victorious), Malalde, finished the stage in the last position, just in front of the broom car, with 9'11 “of disbursements.
