Double dose of bicycle! In the wake of the 20th stage of the Tour de France male, the female event starts with a great departure given in Vannes, Saturday July 26. The first of the nine stages – without rest – on the program will offer a rugged route of 78.8 kilometers as a playground at the peloton in Morbihan, before arrival in Plumelec.
What profile?
The runners will start from Vannes and then make a first part of the layout until the entrance to the final circuit around Plumelec, located 47 kilometers further. A first intermediate sprint will take place in the Melecian municipality, before the stake of the first yellow jersey to be won, tends the different contenders. After the Côte de BotSégalo (category 4, 800 m to 5.3% on average) at the start of the day, the Cadoudal coast (category 3, 1.7 km at 6.2%) could allow some to escape, 13 kilometers from the line, to avoid a massive sprint.

The first yellow jersey of this Tour de France women seems to promise a runner of SD World -Protime, in this case the Dutchman Lorena Wiebes who had already a double blow on the 1st stage of the 2022 edition.
