Galatasaray would be engaged in a “cold war” with Naples concerning the final transfer of Victor Osimhen.

After spending last season on loan in Galatasaray, Osimhen would have given the green light for a final transfer to this club. Although Galatasaray has satisfied the 75 million euros liberating clause from Naples player, the Italian club seems to block the transaction.

Galatasaray Insiste Pour Osimhen

AS claims that the president of Naples, Aurelio de Laurentiis, continues to hinder Galatasaray by making requirements which are not included in the Osimhen contract. The newspaper adds that in addition to specific salary payments, it requires ” 20 % of the rights on the next transfer of Osimhen and the guarantee that the player will not be sold to an Italian club for three years ”. The publication adds that it is part of a “cold war” between the two teams. Incidentally, the Turkish club could bring the case to FIFA if it does not get the case.

What if Osimhen stayed?

Osimhen, who would not give up returning to Galatasaray, would earn a net salary of 15 million euros per year, in addition to 10 million euros from sponsorship income. This is a three -year contract with an option for a fourth year for the 26 -year -old.

The Nigerian international, who was expected to join Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United, but who ultimately does not seem to want to join any of these clubs, will simply have to wait and hope that Naples and Galatasaray quickly reach an agreement.
