The situation of the Moroccan international defender is about to settle down.

Perceived as a priority sector for this summer transfer window after a season marked by its generosity, the defense of theOlympique de Marseille will be reshaped in large widths.

At the dawn of a campaign that marks the return of OM to the Champions League, Roberto de Zerbi plans to solidify his rearguard to assume his game project without exposing himself to counters like the past season.

To achieve this, Olympique de Marseille has already recorded two notable reinforcements for its central defense: the young Englishman Conrad Jaden “CJ” Egan-Riley and the Fougueux Argentin Facundo Medina, who joins his compatriot Leonardo Balerdi. But other profiles were on the tablets of the club.

After Laporte, Aguerd also moves from OM

Among the experienced players targeted by the sports management were notably Aymeric Laporte and Nayef Aguerd. The 2024 European champion could finally return to the club which hatched it, Athletic Bilbao. The Moroccan international, for his part, also moves away from OM.

According to information from the Atlas Eleven account, Aguerd could extend his adventure in West Ham. Initially leaving, the central defender passed by Dijon and Rennes would have reviewed his position to register in the long term with the Hammers.
