This young English defender, little known to the general public, represents a bet by Roberto de Zerbi, eager to inject new blood and youth into his workforce. But according to information from the team, this arrival will not be the only one in the defensive sector. Behind the scenes, Medhi Benatia is preparing a double offensive to offer the Italian coach a more solid and experienced rearguard.
Beautiful names on the table
Aware of the gaps displayed by the Marseille defense this season, Roberto de Zerbi has clearly asked for reinforcement. And the names mentioned make salivate. Facundo Medina (RC Lens), Nayef Aguerd (West Ham), Aymeric Laporte (Free) or Wesley Fofana (Chelsea) all appear on the shelves. OM therefore targets heavy to support or supervise CJ Egan Riley.
