The appointment process, controlled by the American cabinet CAA Stellar, is coming to an end, and the official announcement is expected in the coming days.
53 years old, born in Pont-l'Abbé, Olivier Cloarec has solid experience in professional football. He notably held positions of responsibility in Dijon, then at Stade Rennais, where he was appointed Deputy Managing Director in 2021, before becoming Executive President and Managing Director between 2022 and 2024. Assessed for his rigor and strategic vision, he should also become the main shareholder of the TFC, which would mark an important turning point in the governance of the club. On the sporting level, Toulouse comes out of a correct season in Ligue 1, concluded in 10th place with a record of 11 victories, 9 draws and 14 defeats. After the departure of Comolli, the arrival of Cloarec could bring a new life to the Toulouse project, in the continuity of the ambitions displayed in recent years.
