The transfer of Yaya Touré to become the new coach of the Daring Brussels is suspended due to the problems encountered by John Textor in Lyon, which has just been relegated from Ligue 1.
Former Manchester City midfielder Touré was to occupy his first coach position in Daring Brussels, after having concluded an agreement with the owner of the club, John Textor. However, according to Sacha Tavolieri, this transfer is now suspended due to the recent relegation of Lyon. The Rhone club was relegated to Ligue 2 after declaring debts of around 500 million euros last year.
Textor's attention is clearly required elsewhere, which means that the transfer of Touré to Belgium is for the moment frozen. The former Ivorian international has already held assistant positions at the Liège Standard and in the National Saudi Arabian team, after retiring in 2019.

John Textor is a lot talked about
Textor has important shares in several football clubs, but he recently sold his participation in Crystal Palace, thus paving the way for participation in the Europa League next season after a glorious triumph in FA Cup.
Given the uncertainty that surrounds Textor and Lyon, Touré could end up turning to a new opportunity. The Daring Brussels finished third from the Belgian Pro League challenger last season, but was eliminated promotion dams by Lokeren-Temse.
