Fenerbahçe wishes to recruit Andriy Lunin in Istanbul and would have filed an official offer for the Ukrainian goalkeeper.
According to journalist Samet Cayir, Fenerbahçe is interested in other transfers for this transfer window, and one of the positions he seeks to strengthen is that of goalkeeper. The club has identified Lunin as its priority and also submitted an official offer for the goalkeeper, including Dominik Livakovic, who did the opposite.
Real Madrid is not interested in Livakovic and hesitated to separate from Lunin, which has demonstrated in the past its replacement capacities. The 26 -year -old has signed a contract extension with the club until 2028. However, Madrid would have included a release clause of 25 million euros (21 million pounds sterling/29 million dollars) in his contract.

Fenerbahçe wishes to recruit Lunin from Real Madrid.
Lunin played an essential role for Real Madrid during the 2023-2024 season. He replaced Thibaut Courtois, injured and absent for most of the season. Under the direction of his former coach Carlo Ancelotti, Lunin played 21 championship matches, including 10 without collecting a goal. Impressed by his performances, Ancelotti used it a lot that season, leading the team to the Liga victory and in the Champions League.
The Turkish club included Livakovic in the transfer.
Fenerbahçe will go to a plan B after the rejection of his proposal by the Spanish club. José Mourinho's team will face Göztepe in the league before facing Benfica during the first leg of the Champions League Dams on August 21.
