Former Arsenal striker Jérémy Aliadière claims that Kylian Mbappé is “the best player in the world”, but thinks that his “ego must be injured” after seeing his former club, Paris Saint-Germain, win the Champions League last season.

A “disrespect” denounced
Mbappé had a memorable first season at Santiago Bernabeu in 2024-2025, scoring 44 goals in 59 appearances for Real Madrid for all competitions, but the Frenchman has won no major trophy. The Spanish giant was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Champions League by Arsenal and finished second behind Barcelona in Liga and Copa del Rey.
Mbappé described as “best in the world”
The departure of Mbappé from free PSG in the summer of 2024 has irritated many fans in France, which led to insults against the attacker in the stands of the Parc des Princes. However, Aliadière denounced the “lack of respect” which Mbappé was the subject, the former striker calling him best player in the world.
