OM won its first victory of the season in Ligue 1 against Paris FC, thanks in particular to a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on fire.

This Saturday, at the end of the afternoon, Olympique de Marseille received Paris FC, freshly promoted, in its lair of the Vélodrome. A meeting that counted for the second day of Ligue 1, that the reigning vice-champion of France played without Jonathan Rowe and Adrien Rabiot, excluded from the Marseille group after their altercation occurred during the defeat against Rennes (0-1) on Friday.

After a big opportunity missed by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the 13ᵉ minute, the Marseillais finally opened the scoring five minutes later. The Gabonese striker obtained a penalty following an Otavio fault in the surface. Mason Greenwood walked and converted it perfectly, taking goalkeeper Obed Nkambadio on a thickness on the ground (1-0, 18ᵉ). The Olympians were breaking in the 24ᵉ minute, still thanks to Aubameyang. On a corner pulled on the left, the number 97 defeated the marking of Otavio and found the net of the nets on an acrobatic recovery of the left foot (2-0). Stéphane Gilli's men, however, responded shortly after, thanks to a coiled left foot of Ilan Kebbal (2-1, 28ᵉ).
