Despite speculation around his post, Manchester United's management still believes in the ability of Rúben Amorim to straighten the bar.

Manchester United's complicated start to the season seemed to darken the future of Rúben Amorim on his bench. Before their first success in the Premier League against Burnley (3-2) last week, the Red Devils had chained a defeat against Arsenal and a draw against Fulham, to which was added a surprise elimination by Grimsby Town in the 2ᵉ round of the English League Cup (2-2, Tab 11-12).

Rumors suggested that the Portuguese coach was on the hot seat. However, according to information from
Sunthe position of the Mancunian coach would not be threatened.

Mu is behind amorim

The British tabloid specifies that the United Board could have taken advantage of the international break to seek a successor in Amorim. However, no maintenance would be planned between the Lusitanian and its leaders in order to dismiss it.

The former Sporting manager would therefore always benefit from the club's confidence. Internally, the idea is to give him time to find the right formula, rather than ending a collaboration which, for the moment, is acted until June 2027.
