Marseille has established itself as a pretender for the star of Manchester United, Kobbie Mainoo, the midfielder continuing to campaign for a loan.
United in Focus reports that the Marseille coach, Roberto de Zerbi, would like to join the 20 -year -old player in his workforce, who also has the former young people of United, Greenwood and Angel Gomes. Ruben Amorim and the management of Old Trafford had previously blocked any transfer for Mainoo, but could be favorable to a loan, provided that it is outside the Premier League. The RB Leipzig would also be interested in the player.
The 20 -year -old wants to play regularly as a first team

De Zerbi wants Mainooo
Mainoo and his entourage would pressure for this transfer, the young player being convinced that he needs to play as a first team to win in Thomas Tuchel's plans for the next World Cup. The German coach has dismissed Mainoo from his team for the next Three Lions qualifying matches against Andorra and Serbia, giving way to Adam Wharton and Elliot Anderson in a revised midfielder. The 20 -year -old and his team do not want an Old Trafford definitive departure.
Mainoo did not play any of the two Red Devils Premier League games this season, remaining on the bench during the defeat against Arsenal and the draw against Fulham. He was the holder during the embarrassing elimination of United in Carabao Cup against Grimsby Town, League Two club.
United supporters strongly hope that the young player remains in the long -term plans of the club, but the bustle of Mainoo for more playing time could well force the hand in Amorim. He must either find a role for the midfielder, or allow him to play under the colors of another club before the world cup next summer.
