Liverpool has refused offers of 52 million euros and 67.5 million euros and would accept no less than 80 million euros for the Colombian international.
The newspaper says that the situation “evolves and that concrete negotiations could soon begin”, but there is still a gap between the two parties.
Diaz would have accepted the personal conditions of a contract of 14 million euros per year until 2029, but Liverpool has still not moved.
