Among them, Lionel Messi, who agreed to help Barcelona by postponing his salary to a later date. As Culemania (via Diario As) reports, he will receive his last payment on June 30 (Monday).

Messi, who plays for Inter Miami against Paris Saint-Germain at the Club World Cup this Sunday, will receive 5.95 million euros in Barcelona 24 hours later, which will constitute his last payment as part of the salary postponement. His current teammates Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba will also receive their last payment as part of this device, the report indicating that they will receive € 1.18 million and € 943,000 respectively.
Current FC Barcelona players will also receive their last payment
Pedri and Araujo, who both signed a new contract with FC Barcelona in 2025, will also receive their last pay pay on Monday: the first will receive € 757,000, while the Uruguayan defender will pocket € 429,000. Ansu Fati, loaned to AS Monaco next week, and Iñaki Pena will also receive their last payment as part of this system, having also accepted a postponement of salary in 2020.
In total, FC Barcelona will pay € 16 million to players whose last payment is due on June 30, including Samuel Umtiti (€ 1.2 million), Antoine Griezmann (€ 965,000) and Ousmane Dembélé (€ 643,000).
