AC Milan striker Rafael Leao is open to a transfer to Bayern Munich, but the German club favors other targets.
Despite unsuccessful discussions, Leao is still interested in a transfer to Bayern, according to the German newspaper Bild. The German club had direct discussions with the representatives of the winger in June, but made no official offer in Milan, judging the price requested too high.

Rafael Leao is very coveted
Bayern wishes to strengthen its attack this summer after the transfer of Leroy Sané to the Galatasaray and the free departure of Thomas Müller. He initiated discussions with Nick Woltemade, from Stuttgart, and Luis Díaz, from Liverpool, but has managed to conclude any of the two transfers.
Leao Dream of Bayern
Honorary President Uli Hoeness denied rumors of Leao's transfer, declaring at the beginning of the month: “No, no, it has never been an option for us!” Max (Eberl, sports director) told me the same thing. He had discussions on this subject, but they did not succeed. »»
Leao and Milan are preparing to face Arsenal in a friendly pre-season match, which will be the first match of Massimiliano Allegri since his arrival at the club. Bayern, on the other hand, will seek elsewhere to strengthen its attack after having failed to recruit its targets, including Leao.
