The return of the Tour. After a day of rest, the peloton will start its journey in Occitania, in Toulouse which welcomes the departure and the arrival of the 11th stage, Wednesday July 16. The runners will travel 156.8 km from a flat route on paper, but which has five difficulties, including the Pech David coast (800 meters at 12.4%) which should mock the peloton sprinters.
With this last ramp, located eight kilometers from the finish, the best sneakers will be the favorites for the victory. Starting with Mathieu Van der Poel (Alpecin-deucuuninck), winner of the second stage, and carrying the yellow jersey for four days. Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates XRG) also claims to victory, and will try to take over the yellow jersey of the shoulders of Ben Healy. Several French people will also want to hit hard, such as Kévin Vauquelin (Arkéa-B & B Hotels), sixth in the general classification, Benjamin Grégoire (Groupama-FDJ), or Lenny Martinez (Bahrain Victorious), carrying the pea jersey.
