
The former Lens coach, Will Still, speaks on the end of his adventure in Bollaert, claiming to have acted with integrity despite rumors.
At the end of the 2024-25 season, Will Still made the decision to leave the RC Lens bench. The Belgian-British coach will only have stayed at the head of the Lensois club, before taking the direction of England for personal reasons and accepting the position of Southampton coach for the coming exercise.
The 32 -year -old tactician has accumulated various experiences in Belgium, as a major assistant and coach at the Lierse SK, Beerschot Vac, Standard in Liège, and passages in France at the Stade de Reims and in Sang and Or. He is now preparing to experiment in Championship, on the kingdom side.
“I have always been honest and straight with everyone”
In the columns of La Voix du NordStill wanted to return to his departure from the northern club:“There have been many things say from many people who are not always very fair. I left Lens for personal and also professional reasons. I did the work that was expected of me in special conditions and sometimes complicated on a personal level. I found a club in the week that followed, even if we prefer to believe that I had found this position well before led from Lens ”he explained.
“It was done very quickly, I know we tend to want to make believe the opposite, but I have always been honest and straight with everyone. It is never pleasant when you hear things say about you and your entourage which are completely false.
