Erling Haaland made qualifications for the World Cup his personal show on Tuesday evening, scoring five goals in the crushing 11-1 victory from Norway against Moldova in Oslo.
The Manchester City striker was untouchable, allowing the Stale Solbakken team to continue their faultless season and to keep the head of group I with 15 points in five games.

Haaland scores five goals in the overwhelming victory of Norway
The evening started with Haaland on the decisive pass, serving Felix Myrhe to open the scoring in the sixth minute. The rest was a real carnage. Haaland scored the 11th, 36th and 43rd minutes, scoring a new international triplet, its fifth for Norway. At halftime, the meeting was suffocated, especially after an impeccable finish by Captain Martin Odegaard in additional time.
If visitors hoped for the break, Haaland wiped out their hopes almost instantly. Only seven minutes after the start of the second period, he scored his fourth goal. And, as expected, the hard striker completed his five -time in the 83rd minute, registering his name in the annals of Norwegian football. Rangers midfielder Thelo Aasgaard, who came into play just after the hour of play, scored four times at the bench, but was still overshadowed by Haaland's exploits.
Supporters welcome the attacker as an unstoppable “beast”
Supporters quickly flooded social admiration and disbelief networks.

At the final whistle, Haaland had brought his exceptional total to 48 goals in 45 selections for Norway. This quintet of goals marks its best personal total in national selection and the largest number of goals scored by a European in a qualification match for the World Cup since the six goals of Hans Krankl for Austria in 1977.
