The quest for a new striker by Newcastle United has focused on the Paris-Saint-Germalo Ramos Paris-Saint-Germain striker.
Reports reveal that the 24 -year -old is reappeared as a serious option in St. James' Park. Earlier this month, the Portuguese international had been dismissed, the first investigations having suggested that PSG did not want to give in.
Newcastle's renewed interest in Ramos, reported by the Daily Mail, coincides with the latent desire of Alexander Isak to have him transferred to Liverpool before the closure of the transfer window. Eddie Howe hesitates to separate from his emblematic player without adequate reinforcements, but with the Isak camp which aims at the Merseyside, the Magpies are under pressure to quickly find substitutes.

Newcastle Recovery for Ramos
PSG is more inclined to separate definitively from Ramos than to conclude a temporary loan. If the men of Luis Enrique have just won the UEFA super cup against Tottenham, where Ramos found the way to the nets, the role of the attacker remains that of an element of rotation rather than an essential holder. The French champions would be interested in a respectable offer, and intermediaries have already reported in Newcastle that an agreement could be negotiated.
Ramos Ferme La Porte
Ramos himself seemed to close the door to speculation after this success in Super Cup, declaring to journalists that he was “engaged in the PSG project” and determined to fight for his place in the team. However, these words may not say everything. He struggled to establish himself as a regular holder in Paris. The opportunity to become the spearhead of the Attack on Howwe in the Premier League could prove to be too tempting to be dismissed.
While the deadline of September 1 is fast approaching, Howe and its sports director Paul Mitchell make every effort to recruit two attackers. Yoane Wissa, from Brentford, is about to conclude a transfer to Tyneside, but Howe still insists that Ramos, or a similar caliber player, must also be recruited.
