According to information from The teamDAZN settled well on Monday the remaining 70 million euros due to the Professional Football League (LFP), putting an early end to its broadcast contract (8 games out of 9 per day). This sum, expected in a particularly tense context for French football, constitutes a puff of oxygen welcome for the finances of the LFP.
An uncertainty still recently hovered over this payment, while the commercial subsidiary of the League, LFP Media, had decided not to entrust Dazn with the creation of the future French football chain. This choice therefore acts the clause providing for the payment of 85 million euros in compensation, to be spread out in several deadlines. Despite this decision, the British platform respected its calendar and set the sum initially agreed.
