Juventus is holding its first offensive recruit of summer. According to several Italian media, an agreement in principle has been reached with Jonathan David (25), free since the end of his contract with Lille.
After several weeks of discussion, the Canadian striker gave the green light. There are only a few details left before his medical examination and the official signature.
Author of 25 goals in 49 games in all competitions this season, David comes out of a solid exercise, even if he has just been eliminated from the Gold Cup with Canada against Guatemala (1-1, 5-6 TAB).
Juve looking for an offensive duo
The old lady does not intend to stop there. The objective is clear: to associate Jonathan David with Victor Osimhen, back in Naples after a remarkable loan in Galatasaray. If negotiations with Nigerian fail, Juve could turn to Mateo Retagui (Atalanta), an alternative already identified.
But above all, the Dusan Vlahovic file will have to be paid. Still under contract, the Serbian is not in a hurry to leave, which complicates the Turin plans.
And Kolo Muani in all of this?
Another name circulates internally: that of Randal Kolo Muani. Loaned this season by PSG, the French international has suggested his potential. His future will depend on the movements to come in Paris … But in Turin, we keep an eye attentive on his situation. A new loan with a purchase option is in the pipes, but necessarily, these two recruitments could change the situation.
