Contested this Sunday, September 7 in Tuscany, the Grand Prix Industry & Craftsmanship (or more soberly GP Larciano) launched the period of the Italian semi-classic at the end of the season. On this 195.4 km route drawn around Larciano and cut for the Putanchers and Climbers, the runners had to chain several times two formidable climbs: the Fornello wall, with its passages at more than 10 %, then the essential San Baronto (8.4km at 3.5%) three times on the final circuit. Everything was without surprise in the last passage of this cernier, in which a trio emerged from the rest of the favorites: Christian Scaroni (XDS astana team) and Davide Piganzoli (Team Polti Visitmalta) attacked the first, before being joined a little further by Isaac del Toro (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) before the summit. The three men were not taken up in the descent, and it was ultimately Mexican who aligned the two Italians with the final stretch!

Delettre and crossed out: two French in the top 10

Too fast and powerful for the two transalpins, the 2nd of the last Giro Signed its 10th success of the season in Italy, the 81st for the Emirati training in 2025! Behind them, a group of five pursuers arrived 23 seconds late for 4th place, won by German Felix Engelhardt (Jayco-Alula team) in front of two French in shape: Alexandre delettre (Team TotalEnergies) et Louis Barré (Intermarché-Wanty). Untouchable last year at this period on Italian roads, the title holder Marc Hirschi (Tudor) must this time settle for 7th place on arrival.
