The third and last big tour of the season ended this weekend, and with all the points UCI allocated The returnthe UCI rankings have logically turned upside down! Cyclism’Actu is there to take stock of everything you have to remember, in particular with regard to the struggle to avoid the relegation of the WorldTour. But let us first mention the individual classification, with a Tadej Pogacar (Uae Team Emirates XRG) which remains unsurprisingly in the lead with a huge margin. On the other hand behind the Slovenian, it moved well with a Jonas Vingegaard who takes advantage of his Spanish triumph to resume 2nd place in Mathieu van der Poelthe Dutchman being even beaten out of the podium by another Danish victorious on The return, Mads Pedersen.

The rest of the ranking reflects the winners and the losers of these three Iberian weeks. JOAO ALMEIDA thus wins 8 places and directly integrates the world top 5, just in front of a Isaac del Toro Who took advantage of his Italian harvest (4 victories) to consolidate his 6th place. Tom Pidcock (8e, +16 places), Jasper Philipsen (12e, +17), Juan Ayuso (16e, +15), Felix Gall (22e, +15), Jay Vine (30e, +20), Giulio Pellizzari (38e, +43), Jai Hindley (42nd, +127) or Matthew Riccitello (77th, +124) make a hell of a leap in the hierarchy following their good performances.
On the other hand, the heroes of The return 2024 have plummeted following the loss of their UCI points: Wout van Aert Top 10 out (11th, -7 places), and the fall is even more violent for Ben O’Connor (33E, -24), Enric Mas (35e, -23), Richard Carapaz (37th, -22) and above all Primoz Roglicwhich goes directly from 5th to 39th place! French side, Kévin Vauquelin remains first French in 15th position, before Romain Grégoire (27e) et Paul Magnier (29E).
