Remco Evenepoel (Sudal Quick-Step), previously 2nd, has left the podium, which is now occupied by Mads Pedersen (2nd, lidl-trek) and Mathieu van der Poel (3rd, Alpecin-deceuninck). Also note the entry into the top 20 ofOscar Onley (8e, Picnic PostNL), Florian Lipowitz (10e, Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe), Jonathan Milan (15e, Lidl-Trek), Ben Healy (16e, EF Education-EasyPost), Kévin Vauquelin (18th, Arkéa-B & B Hotels) and Kaden Groves (19th, Alpecin-Deceuninck), after their superb Tour de France. Vauquelinnow 18th, is the first Frenchman to integrate the top 20 in the world ranking for over a year.

Cofidis in 2nd division in 2026?
In team classification on the season, UAE Team Emirates XRG is still largely in mind. There Visma | Lease a Bike Takes 2nd place, for the first time of the season. There Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe also finds the heights of the ranking, entering the top 5. thanks to the excellent Tour d’Oscar Onleythe Picnic Go up 5 places and are now classified 13th. On the other hand, the Cofidis Loses 3 positions and finds itself 20th.
If the annual classification has little importance, that on the 2023-2024-2025 seasons is much more so, since it will determine the division in which the teams will evolve over the next three years. But there too Cofidis is in great difficulty. While the performance ofOnlyy have undoubtedly saved PicnicFrench training, author of a Tour ghostly, is now won in the rankings with more than 1,500 points behind on Intermarché-Wantyfirst non-relief team.
