“I am really happy”
After this unexpected turn, Aleix Espargaro is happy to play his first race with his team, six months after arriving: “I am really happy with the course of this year, which has completely changed my life and everything I did before. It is incredible to be part of a team such as Lidl-Trek. I grew up a lot as a cyclist and I learned a lot in these 6 months. I feel good, and I can't wait to run and test my legs in front of some of the best runners in the world. I'm going to have a good team around me. It will be a good challenge but I have no expectations for my debut in cycling. I will try to learn as much as possible, help my teammates and, the most importantly, enjoy pain! ”
The Spaniard will obviously not be the leader of his training for his first race with the pros, but should have a team status for his leader, who should be Lennard Kavenrecently 6th of Switzerland Tour or Patrick Konrad.
