This Wednesday was the 2nd stage of the Poitou-Charentes Tour between Jonzac and Gond-Pontouvre, and as Tuesday on the 1st stage, it was at the sprint that victory played. Overpowered, French Dorian godon (Decathlon Ag2r La Mondiale Team), 4th in the 1st stage, won brilliantly, in front of his compatriot Arnaud Demare (Arkea-B & B Hotels), already second Tuesday on the 1st stage. French Benjamin Thomas (Cofidis) completes a 100% French podium. Small consolation batch for Arnaud Demarehe takes the lead in the general classification thanks to the 6 seconds of bonus he obtained this Wednesday.

After the real departure, four runners got forward: Gabriele Raccagni (Team Polti Visitmalta), and three team teammates Parkhotel Valkenburg, Mathis Avondts, Nils Sinschek, et Martijn Rasenberg. Despite an advance which has been exceeded for a while, the peloton perfectly managed the pursuit to finally take them back three kilometers from the finish.
